Welcome to my journey!

I’ve been through hell and back, but the experience has been life-changing in ways I could have never imagined.  It is my hope that sharing my story will spread a message of hope and lessen the stigma that surrounds drug and alcohol addiction.

I became an empty-nester before I was prepared to be one when my daughter’s drug addiction spiraled out of control during her senior year of high school. Sending my child to a drug rehab at 17 years old was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but it saved her life. It also changed mine. I went through recovery as a parent of an addicted child in order to better understand and support my daughter. What I received was a gift to myself.
